Terms of use

The terms that apply when you use this website and when you book care with Doctors-To-You.

This site is not for emergencies. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses dty.minaexample.com/ and to everyone who books a home visit or a virtual visit with us. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or booking care with us, you agree to these terms. Doctors-To-You is a medical service managed by 432 Health Group, operating from 354 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2W 2M2.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the version published here is the version that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

This service is not for emergencies

Doctors-To-You provides non-emergency care only. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, signs of a stroke, a severe allergic reaction, a serious injury, thoughts of harming yourself, or any other emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.

Do not use this website, a booking form, an online booking, or a message to us to report an emergency or an urgent change in your condition.

Website forms and messages are not monitored continuously and are not a way to reach a physician quickly. Never rely on them for anything urgent.

Website content is not medical advice

The information on this site is general and is provided for education only. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and reading it does not create a physician and patient relationship. That relationship begins when one of our physicians sees you for an appointment.

Always speak to a qualified health professional about your own situation. Never disregard professional advice, and never delay seeking care, because of something you read here.

Eligibility and coverage

Insured services are covered by Manitoba Health for patients who hold a valid Manitoba Health registration card. With a valid card, there is no cost to you for an insured visit.

  • Virtual and phone visits require both you and the physician to be located in Manitoba at the time of the appointment.
  • Home visits are available in the Winnipeg areas we serve. Coverage of a specific address is confirmed when you book.
  • If you do not hold valid Manitoba Health coverage, tell us when you book and we will explain your options before any service is provided.

Our physicians are licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and practise under its standards.

Uninsured services

Some services are not insured by Manitoba Health. Common examples include certain third party or insurance forms, and sick notes in some situations.

Where a service is not insured, we will tell you before it is provided and explain any fee that applies, so that you can decide. We will never carry out an uninsured service and present you with a charge afterwards.

Booking and appointments

You can book by phone, online through our booking platform, or by requesting a call back through a form on this site. A booking request is not confirmed until we confirm it with you.

Appointment times are estimates rather than guarantees. Care that runs long for one patient moves the schedule for the next, and we would rather give each person the time they need than rush them. We will keep you informed if timing changes materially.

If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please tell us as early as you can on 204-586-6655. It costs nothing to cancel, and letting us know early means the time can go to another patient who needs it.

We may need to reschedule a visit because of weather, road conditions, physician availability, or an urgent situation with another patient. If that happens we will contact you and offer the earliest alternative we can.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate and complete information about yourself, your health, your medications, and your Manitoba Health coverage.
  • Only book on someone else’s behalf where you have their agreement, or the legal authority to act for them.
  • Provide a safe and accessible environment for a home visit, including a reasonable route to the door, adequate lighting, and pets kept secure.
  • Be reachable at the number you gave us around the time of your appointment.
  • Treat our staff and physicians with respect.
  • Use this website lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or use it to transmit anything harmful.

When we may decline or end a service

Our physicians exercise their own clinical judgement. We may decline a booking, end a visit, or redirect you to another form of care where:

  • the concern is outside the scope of non-emergency care we provide, or needs an emergency department;
  • a safe assessment is not possible in the circumstances;
  • the address is outside the area we serve;
  • prescribing or providing a service would not be clinically appropriate; or
  • behaviour towards our staff or physicians is abusive, threatening, or unsafe.

Where we decline, we will tell you why and point you towards care that fits.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information and your personal health information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Please do not send detailed health information through a website form or by email.

Third party services

Online booking and appointment management are provided through Cortico, a third party platform. When you follow a booking or “manage appointment” link, you leave this website and are subject to that platform’s own terms and privacy practices.

This site may also link to or embed services we do not operate, such as mapping. We are not responsible for third party platforms, and a link does not imply that we endorse them.

Website content and intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics, and branding on this site belong to Doctors-To-You or are used with permission. You may view, download, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or use this content commercially, or present it as your own, without written permission.

Liability

We take reasonable care to keep this website accurate, current, and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error free or uninterrupted, and we may change or withdraw parts of it without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, from any inability to access it, or from reliance on its general information rather than on advice given to you by a physician.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the professional obligations that our physicians owe to their patients, any liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the applicable laws of Canada. The courts of Manitoba have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

If you have a concern about your care or about our service, please raise it with us first on 204-586-6655. Most things are resolved in one conversation. Concerns about a physician’s conduct may also be raised with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, and privacy concerns with the Manitoba Ombudsman.
